The Next Chapter...

I promised my BFF Lois that if she worked on her blog for her website, I would start blogging again too. She's been doing a lot better than me. I guess now that we have a family, it might be a little easier for me to blog! Hopefully I can keep up on our blog and not revolve them all around baby, haha.

 

As everyone already knows, our sweet baby girl Henlee was born on 6.24.15. It has been so fun and exciting having a family and her in our lives! I was really nervous for her to come out because I had the hardest time with pregnancy! I absolutely hate it. I had no connection with it and hated the changes to my body and not feeling like I was in control of my body. The sad thing is, I had an easy pregnancy! I never got sick, my emotions were basically nonexistent, I was never sick and never had any cravings. The only bad thing that happened to me was my Bell's Palsy. Wally definitely lucked out because I was probably the nicest pregnant person.The best part of pregnancy was putting together her room. Lucky for me, Wally had to do most of the painting :)

 

Wally and I are definitely excited to be parents and love hanging out with her at night. I am also really excited to be able to put pictures up in our house! I'm so sick of seeing pictures of just Wally and I. We are both proud parents and can't wait to see what this next chapter of life has in store for us!

Baby Dash

Today our baby Dash passed away! He was only 11 weeks old! We think he must have had some health issues because he had a seizure about a week after having him. Dash just started to learn how to play, and was showing us his awesome personality; he still didn't know how to bark!!

Just as we were getting ready to head up to grandmas to eat he died. We think he had a heart attack. There must have been too many people and big dogs.

I will forever love you Dash, and you will forever be our baby!!

Our Baby

In February of this year, I decided I was going to buy a puppy. I was very specific about this puppy. 1) It MUST be a teacup yorkie 2) a boy 3) no more than 4 pounds && 4) he must be my puppy and my best friend..

I finally convinced Wally into getting a puppy and it worked out that we found one on valentines day! He was perfect and we named him Dodger! Little did I know, Wally is like some animal control freak and all animals love him and hate me..

Although Dodger loved Wally more, he was still my baby! About a month ago Dodger escaped and never came home. It's been very tough on us and I hope one day we can find a new puppy to fill the void in our hearts!

Our House...

As most of you know we purchased our first house in May, and yes I am just barely posting some pictures. We've had quite a few problems with our yard already which sucks but at least the problems are outside and not inside..(fingers crossed). 

Our house is has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and a HUGE yard! The yard is what got us both, it reminds me so much of my grandma's yard and up in the city it is hard to find a house with a decent sized yard. So far we have had grubs kill almost all of our lawn in the back and a few spots in the front, and then some sort of bugs kill our quakes! We just barely planted new grass after killing the grubs so hopefully it starts to look better. 

 I absolutely cannot stand the color of our cabinets..

 We added that light it was a disgusting gold thing.. We got that guy for $1.89!

 We also just recently hung a cute ceiling fan where that ugly light is :)

 Yup that's Wal being lazy. I just added some cute pictures on those walls so it looks way better.

 I have two of these cubbyholes and I love them! I plan to decorate them according to seasons.

 This is our guest room, it used to be a nasty green color.

The Busy Month of May

It's been awhile since I blogged. I also forgot all the information to our old blog so we will start fresh. 2012 has been a very busy year for us. Especially May! I finally graduated from SLCC with my Associates in Paralegal Studies. We  were able to go on our honeymoon in Mexico, it was amazing! The resort was so pretty but the food wasn't that great. We also got free drinks!! Just before we left we found the house we wanted and our offer was accepted, which caused a lot of paperwork. We didn't get to move in until June and have been in it for about a month so I will not be posting any pictures yet :) Patience is a virtue!
